The Ministry of Health and Welfare urged residents on the 27th to "form a responsible delegation and engage in dialogue with the government."
Park Min-su, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, said at the 'Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters Briefing on the Doctors' Collective Action' held at the Government Seoul Office, "Forming a delegation for dialogue is not a violation of the law."
Vice Minister Park said, "I hope you return to the medical field and stay by the patients' side," adding, "Do not worry about others' opinions, and I urge you to make a courageous decision to return to the medical field first."
He continued, "I hope you form a responsible delegation and come to the table for dialogue with the government."
Vice Minister Park stated, "Regarding the budget to be included in the newly established special account for essential medical care to improve the training environment and treatment of residents, the experiences and creative ideas of residents in the field are needed," and added, "I hope to have dialogue without being bound by formalities."
