A Man in His 50s Sentenced to Prison for Threatening a Delivery Worker with a Weapon During a Return Dispute
A man in his 50s who threatened a delivery worker with a weapon during a dispute over a computer return was sentenced to prison.
On the 26th, Hwang Yoon-chul, a judge of the Criminal Division 10 at Incheon District Court, announced that he sentenced Mr. A (50), who was charged with special intimidation, to four months in prison.
Mr. A was indicted for threatening delivery worker Mr. B (29) with a weapon in front of his house entrance in Seo-gu, Incheon, on December 15 last year. The investigation revealed that he got into an argument with Mr. B over a computer return issue and committed the crime believing that the seller and Mr. B were conspiring to deceive him.
Mr. A chased Mr. B while holding a weapon he brought from home, saying, "I will kill you." Then, when Mr. B got into the delivery vehicle, Mr. A repeatedly kicked the side door and continued to threaten him.
