Recruitment for Gyeonggi Youth Overseas Training until April 1... 270 Participants Dispatched to 9 Overseas Universities
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Job Foundation are recruiting participants for the ‘Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program,’ which provides overseas training experiences for young people in the province, until April 1.
The Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program is a flagship youth policy of Governor Kim Dong-yeon of Gyeonggi Province, designed to reduce educational disparities by offering overseas university training opportunities to local youth, motivating them to explore diverse career paths, and providing a chance to challenge social mobility.
This year, Gyeonggi Province will select and dispatch 270 young people aged 19 to 39 to 9 universities in 5 countries.
Eligibility requires applicants to be aged 19 to 39 as of the announcement date and have a residence in Gyeonggi Province, with no disqualifications for overseas training. Applications can be submitted through the Gyeonggi Job Foundation’s Jobaba Apply website (https://apply.jobaba.net).
The main overseas training universities include the University of Michigan, University at Buffalo, University of Washington, University of San Diego in the United States; University of Sydney, University of Queensland in Australia; University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom; Peking University in China; and National University of Singapore, totaling 9 schools.
Depending on the university’s training program, various activities such as language training, local cultural experiences, company site visits, and self-directed team projects will be conducted.
