Chungnam Small and Medium Enterprises Enter Europe's Largest Shopping Mall, Germany Amazon
13 Companies Including Red Ginseng, Gochujang, and Traditional Tea Join the Market
Thirteen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Chungnam region will enter the world's largest online shopping mall, Amazon Germany.
According to Chungnam Province on the 25th, 27 SMEs from the Chungnam region participated in an export consultation held last October in Frankfurt, Germany, signing contracts worth $3,054,000.
Since then, the province has promoted sample test marketing to facilitate SMEs' entry into Amazon Germany, resulting in 13 companies producing gim (seaweed), red ginseng, gochujang, and traditional tea entering Amazon Germany.
Amazon Germany is the largest shopping mall in Europe and the second largest after Amazon USA.
The province plans to promote additional entries into online shopping malls by country based on the German entry case.
