Man in his 30s Arrested in Songpa-gu for Entering Swimming Pool Locker Room in Women's Clothing
Police Investigating Whether Illegal Filming Material Exists
A man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, has been arrested and is under investigation for entering the women's locker room at the Olympic Swimming Pool in Songpa-gu, Seoul, while dressed as a woman.
According to the Songpa Police Station in Seoul on the 24th, Mr. A is suspected of secretly entering the women's locker room at the Olympic Swimming Pool around 1:50 PM the previous day, wearing a wig and a skirt, on charges of violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act for entering a multi-use facility for sexual purposes.
A woman who was in the locker room at the time shouted, "Please catch that person," and upon hearing this, a swimming instructor caught Mr. A as he tried to flee and handed him over to the police.
