On the 20th, Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, held the ‘Cultural Healing Day with Outstanding Volunteers!’ event at the Uljin-gun Comprehensive Volunteer Center, attended by 80 volunteers.
‘Cultural Healing Day’ is part of a recognition and reward program for outstanding volunteers. Each month, the top volunteer among those who actively participated in volunteer work is selected, and members recommended by each volunteer group watch a movie and engage in cultural activities together.
At the event held at the Uljin Small Theater, Kim Kyunghwa, president of the Giseong Red Cross, Joo Okseon, member of the Ujin Dauhoe, and Jin Yanghee, vice president of the Hupo Women’s Volunteer Association, were selected as top volunteers and received awards.
Center Director Jang Taeyoon said, “I thank the volunteers who took their precious time to carry out volunteer activities with warm hearts, and I will continue to strive to provide more diverse volunteer recognition and reward programs for volunteers dedicated to our local community.”
