Korean Air Employees Unite to Donate 55 Million Won

Korean Air announced on the 22nd that it raised 55 million KRW through a step donation campaign held to celebrate its 55th anniversary and donated the amount to Gangseo District Office. The donation will be distributed to nine social welfare facilities in Gangseo District, including comprehensive welfare centers, residential facilities for the disabled, and child welfare centers.

Earlier, the company's employees participated in the step donation campaign for ten days starting from the 14th of last month. The campaign aimed to donate 5 million KRW to the local community if they achieved 155 million steps in celebration of the 55th anniversary. The employees recorded nearly double the target with 301,406,597 steps. This distance is equivalent to six times around the Earth or twelve round trips between Incheon and Los Angeles, USA.
