This year, seven movie screenings will be held at the Mapo-gu Office auditorium. It will operate on the fourth Monday of every month, excluding the harsh winter months (December, January, and February) and the peak summer months (July and August), screening mainly comedy, melodrama, and family drama genres preferred by all age groups.
Additionally, lively side performances such as trot music and instrumental performances will be prepared before the movies to enhance the audience's enjoyment.
The films scheduled for 2024 are ▲The Admiral: Roaring Currents ▲Miracle in Cell No. 7 ▲Exit ▲Oh! Moon-hee ▲Miracle ▲Confidential Assignment 2: International ▲Collateral.
Residents who wish to watch can freely attend the screenings at 2 p.m. on the day of the screening at the Mapo-gu Office auditorium without any prior application.
Starting this year, senior citizens visiting Masil Cinema will be able to directly suggest movies they want to see, and the district plans to reflect these suggestions in future schedules to achieve higher satisfaction.
Furthermore, group viewings with local groups such as Ilseong Girls' High School students and the Mapo-gu Silver Choir will be promoted to create even more special memories for the elderly.
