4 Candidates Registered for Junggu Mayor By-election
On the first day of candidate registration for the 22nd National Assembly election, 19 candidates completed their registration in Daejeon on the 21st.
According to the National Election Commission, 19 candidates registered in 7 electoral districts in Daejeon on that day.
In Dong-gu, Democratic Party candidate Jang Cheol-min and People Power Party candidate Yoon Chang-hyun registered. In Jung-gu, Democratic Party candidate Park Yong-gap and People Power Party candidate Lee Eun-gwon registered.
In Seo-gu Gap, Democratic Party candidate Jang Jong-tae, People Power Party candidate Jo Soo-yeon, Saeroun Mirae candidate An Pil-yong, and independent candidate Yoo Ji-gon threw their hats into the ring.
In Seo-gu Eul, Democratic Party candidate Park Beom-gye, People Power Party candidate Yang Hong-gyu, and Liberty Unification Party candidate Lee Ji-hoon completed their registration.
In Yuseong-gu Gap, Democratic Party candidate Jo Seung-rae and People Power Party candidate Yoon So-sik registered, while in Yuseong-gu Eul, Democratic Party candidate Hwang Jeong-a, People Power Party candidate Lee Sang-min, and Saeroun Mirae candidate Kim Chan-hoon registered.
In Daedeok-gu, Democratic Party candidate Park Jeong-hyun, People Power Party candidate Park Kyung-ho, and Saeroun Mirae candidate Park Young-soon registered and expressed their determination to win.
For the Jung-gu mayoral by-election held alongside the National Assembly election, Democratic Party candidate Kim Je-seon, Saeroun Mirae candidate Yoon Yang-soo, Reform New Party candidate Kwon Jung-soon, and independent candidate Lee Dong-han registered. Also, in Yuseong-gu Na electoral district, Democratic Party candidate Choi Ok-sul completed registration.
