Japan's February Trade Balance Deficit of 3.3 Trillion Won... "Deficit Reduced by Car Exports"
Japan's trade balance recorded a deficit for the second consecutive month.
According to the preliminary trade statistics for February released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance on the 21st, the trade deficit last month amounted to 379.4 billion yen (approximately 3.35 trillion won).
The deficit size decreased by 78.4% compared to the previous month (1.7603 trillion yen) and fell by 59.2% compared to the same month last year (928.9 billion yen).

Exports last month totaled 8.2492 trillion yen, driven by strong performance in the automobile sector, which led to the reduction in the deficit. Imports were 8.6286 trillion yen, up 0.5% from the same month last year.
