Chief Lee Eul-shin Holds a Communication Session Listening and Responding with Residents
The Shinan Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Lee Eulsin) held a participatory and sincere policing briefing session with residents at the Imja-myeon Comprehensive Welfare Center at 2 p.m. on the 20th, receiving great response from the residents.
According to Shinan Police on the 21st, about 60 local representatives and village residents, including the heads of the residents' autonomy committee, the autonomous crime prevention team leader, and village chiefs, attended the briefing session.

View original imageAt the policing briefing, Chief Lee Eulsin prepared a PPT presentation to explain in detail to the residents the major policing policies being promoted by the police station, including △measures to prevent recurrence of wage exploitation and human rights violations against socially vulnerable groups such as salt farm workers △creation of a crime prevention environment such as installing security CCTV to prevent agricultural product theft △methods to prevent increasingly sophisticated phishing scams △strengthening activities to prevent traffic accidents involving the elderly.
As part of sincere policing, the session also included a communication time where the chief listened to and responded to residents' inconveniences and opinions one by one, receiving applause from the residents.
Chief Lee Eulsin stated, “We will continue to hold policing briefing sessions frequently to solve community problems and actively reflect residents' opinions, thereby establishing policing infrastructure suited to the characteristics of island areas.”
