The Korea Forest Service Announces Call for Host Organizations for This Year's Sanlim Leports Daehoe

The Korea Forest Service announced on the 20th that it will publicly recruit the organizing institution for the '2024 Korea Forest Service Director's Cup Forest Leisure Sports Competition' until the 1st of next month.

Forest leisure sports are adventure and experiential leisure sports conducted in forests. Since 2015, the Korea Forest Service has been holding forest leisure sports competitions to expand public participation and revitalize related industries.

The recruitment targets organizations or associations that will host forest leisure sports competitions in four categories: mountain marathon, mountain biking, orienteering, and hang gliding/paragliding.

Organizations selected as the organizing institution for the forest leisure sports competition will receive 10 million KRW to cover expenses necessary for operation, such as preliminary education and promotion.
