NeuroMatch received approval last year from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, standing out in the digital healthcare field. This digital-based treatment method is expected to dramatically improve the efficiency of brain disease treatment.
To become a global digital healthcare company, Elvis plans to invest 17.5 billion KRW to newly build the ‘AI-based Brain Disease Treatment Research Center’ on an 870㎡ (263 pyeong) site within Suseong Alpha City and hire local talent to conduct research for diagnosing and treating epilepsy and sleep disorders.
Through this investment, Elvis will conduct demonstration projects in actual clinical environments with general hospitals in Daegu, including Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital, Kyungpook National University Hospital, Yeungnam University Hospital, Daegu Catholic University Hospital, Daegu Medical Center, and Daegu Fatima Hospital.
Jin-Hyung Lee, founder of Elvis, said, “We decided to invest in Daegu because it has sufficient digital healthcare-related infrastructure such as the Korea Brain Research Institute and multiple university hospitals, and a concentration of talent in the ABB field. We will contribute to the growth of the local medical and ABB-related industries and work more closely with Daegu City to hire local talent and help the regional economy take off.”
