On the 19th, Dong-gu District Office in Daejeon announced that it had approved the business implementation plan for the Complex Zone 2 redevelopment project, a core redevelopment project in the Daejeon Station area with a total project cost of 1 trillion won.
The Complex Zone 2 redevelopment project is being carried out on a 28,369㎡ site at 291-2 Sojedong within the Daejeon Station area redevelopment promotion district, where the tallest building in Daejeon, reaching up to 69 floors, will be constructed.
Following the approval of the business implementation plan, construction is scheduled to begin in April with the relocation of solar power facilities and is expected to be completed by 2029.
The project will be implemented by Daejeon Station Area Development PFV Co., Ltd. (Hanwha Construction and eight other companies) and will include three residential apartment buildings (987 households), lodging facilities (228 rooms), an office building (one building), retail facilities, neighborhood living facilities, and commercial complex facilities such as cultural and assembly spaces.
