At around 2:10 PM on the 18th, a fire broke out at an elementary school in Gwangdo-myeon, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam, and the fire department is currently extinguishing it.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire spread from a vehicle parked near the building to the 5th floor of the school building.
The fire department, which responded after receiving the report, deployed 27 fire trucks and 81 personnel and managed to control the major fire around 3:22 PM.
Three people who inhaled smoke, including a woman in her 60s responsible for cleaning the school, a woman in her 40s who was picking up her child, and a teenage female student, were urgently taken to the hospital.
