Kim Gyu-young, Vice Chairman and CEO of Hyosung Co., Ltd., presented "Responsible Management Practice, Winning Company" as this year's management policy on the 15th.
In his greeting at the regular shareholders' meeting held at the headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Vice Chairman Kim stated, "We will become a winning company by establishing an organizational culture where every member fulfills the tasks they have committed to in their respective positions and takes responsibility for the results."
He also outlined goals such as enhancing brand value based on the highest quality and customer trust, transparent and effective communication, accelerating digital transformation and expanding the application of advanced information technology (IT), and leading ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to create a sustainable future.
Vice Chairman Kim emphasized, "The global economy is expected to find it difficult to easily escape from recession this year, and with major elections taking place in over 70 countries worldwide, many variables are anticipated, increasing the uncertainty of the management environment. To proactively respond to these changes, we are conducting thorough market research, research and development, and marketing activities."

At the shareholders' meeting, the agenda to reappoint Chairman and CEO Cho Hyun-joon and Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-sang as inside directors, and to reappoint former Minister of Culture and Tourism Jeong Dong-chae as an outside director, was approved.
