Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Defense Acquisition Program Administration Visit Hanwha and KAI, "Resolving Defense Industry Challenges"
On the 15th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced that it visited Hanwha Aerospace and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) in Changwon, Gyeongnam, together with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) to listen to the difficulties faced by companies and seek solutions through inter-ministerial collaboration.
During the on-site visit to Hanwha Aerospace, they listened to the company's progress and challenges in domesticating cutting-edge aircraft engines and discussed cooperation plans among the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, DAPA, and the companies.
At the visit to Korea Aerospace Industries, a meeting was held with representatives from companies such as Hize Aviation, Mirae Aviation, and Songwol Technology to discuss ▲ early implementation of E-7-3 (aircraft parts manufacturer) visas ▲ incentives for workforce recruitment and residential conditions ▲ infrastructure development. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and DAPA stated that they will quickly resolve constraints on corporate activities through inter-ministerial cooperation and carefully review and promote necessary support measures.
