Jangseong-gun Supports Low-Income Youth Rent... Up to 200,000 KRW
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 14th that it is accepting the second round of applications for the ‘Youth Monthly Rent Temporary Special Support Project,’ which provides up to 200,000 KRW per month to low-income youth.
The support targets youth aged 19 to 34 who have subscribed to a housing subscription savings account and meet the following criteria: ▲homeless individuals separated from their parents’ household ▲residing in a house with a rental deposit of 50 million KRW or less and monthly rent of 700,000 KRW or less.
However, youth renting a house owned by direct ascendants, siblings, or relatives within the second degree of kinship of the homeowner, or those renting public rental housing, are not eligible for monthly rent support.
The income and property criteria for youth households are 60% or less of the median income and property value of 122 million KRW or less.
The original family, including parents, must also meet the criteria of 100% or less of the median income and property value of 470 million KRW or less to qualify for support.
Youth who received support in the first round of the Youth Monthly Rent Temporary Special Support Project are also eligible to apply again.
For more details, inquiries can be made at the administrative welfare centers in the resident’s town or township, or at the Civil Service Department of the county office.
A county official stated, “We will actively promote and guide to ensure that all eligible youth receive the benefits without omission.”
