AI Grand ICT Research Center Agreement
Collaboration on System Development Including Laser Welding
The Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center (Director Jeong Seok-chan) has embarked on a collaborative project to develop ICT technology for the steel industry.
On February 27, the center signed a business agreement for the development of ICT convergence technology for the steel industry with Dongguk CM Co., Ltd. and National System Co., Ltd. at the Industry-Academia Cooperation Building seminar room.
The signing ceremony was attended by Jeong Seok-chan, director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Professor Park Young-do of Metallurgical Materials Engineering, Nam Don-woo, head of research at Dongguk CM Co., Ltd., and Kim Byung-heon, head of research at National System Co., Ltd.
The AI Grand ICT Research Center at Dong-Eui University is signing an agreement to develop ICT technology for the steel industry.
View original imageThrough this agreement, each institution will mutually cooperate in various fields, including the exchange of ICT technology and laser technology for the steel industry, joint execution of related national projects, and research and development.
Director Jeong Seok-chan explained, “The center operates 14 detailed projects in core AI fields, one of which is conducting leading technology research in the steel industry and welding sector.”
Director Jeong added, “We hope that active technology exchange and research and development related to the steel industry and associated fields will take place.”
