Gyeongnam Changwon FC aims for their first win of the season against Daejeon Korail in the 2024 K3 League home opener, inviting soccer fans and citizens to the Changwon Football Center at 2 PM on the 17th.
Before the home opener, the opening ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM with a congratulatory performance by the children's cheering squad, followed by player introductions and a kickoff event.
Admission to this free match will be distributed on-site starting at noon on the day of the game, and the first 100 fans and citizens to arrive at the stadium will receive signed balls as gifts.
Additionally, during halftime and after the match, a raffle event will offer various prizes such as robot vacuum cleaners, hotel accommodation vouchers, bicycles, and meal coupons.
Changwon FC, who suffered a 1-2 defeat in the first round away game against Gimhae City Hall on the 3rd, is fully prepared with determination to deliver a great victory to fans in their first home game, using the loss against Gimhae as motivation.
Coach Lee Young-jin stated, “We will definitely win the home opener against Daejeon Korail FC. Our biggest goal is to increase our home winning rate, and we will play to win,” expressing his strong will to succeed.
Meanwhile, Changwon FC, newly launched as a foundation corporation this year, will open all 2024 home games free of charge to ensure that all citizens can participate without sports exclusion.
