Jangseong-gun Operates Direct Trade Market for Agricultural Specialties at Jogyesa Temple in Seoul
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the day that it operated a direct transaction market for agricultural specialties at Jogyesa Temple in Seoul from the 10th to the 12th.
About 40 types of agricultural specialties jointly presented by the Jangseong Food Integrated Support Center Foundation and the Nonghyup Regional Federation Business Group received great response for their high quality and reasonable prices.

Visitors to the market were given Jangseong-gun’s own brand ‘365 Saeng Premium Rice’ and shopping bags as gifts, and the Hwangryonggang Gildongmu Flower Road Festival to be held from May 24 to 26, as well as the Hometown Love Donation System, were promoted.
On the day, Kim Han-jong, Jangseong-gun Governor, Lee Kang-no, Director of the Jangseong Food Integrated Support Center Foundation, and Na Moon-seon, Branch Manager of Nonghyup Jangseong Branch, among other officials, encouraged the market operators on site.
Since starting to supply temple rice to Jogyesa Temple in 2022, Jangseong-gun has maintained a smooth mutual cooperative relationship through operating the direct transaction market and other activities.
Governor Kim also met in succession with Jinwoo Sunim, the Chief Executive of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, and the staff of the Korean Buddhist Cultural Business Group to explore mutual cooperation plans between Jangseong-gun and them.
Governor Kim Han-jong said, “We will widely promote Jangseong’s excellent food ingredients to urban residents and complete Jangseong as a gourmet tourism city through multifaceted cooperation for the globalization of temple food.”
