Investment in 'Colosseum Corporation Co., Ltd.' Holding Total Solutions Related to Logistics
Hyosung's corporate venture capital (CVC), Hyosung Ventures Co., Ltd., announced on the 12th that it has selected Colosseum Corporation Co., Ltd., a logistics center network company, as its first investment destination of the year.
Colosseum Corporation Co., Ltd., a 4PL logistics company, has developed and operates 'COLO,' an integrated solution based on data that addresses the complex e-commerce logistics needs of solo entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized sellers, and corporate brand manufacturers and distributors. 4PL stands for '4th Party Logistics.' It is a service that goes beyond packaging, inventory management, and transportation to provide logistics consulting and solutions.
COLO is software that integrates and manages logistics-related data such as order collection, inbound and outbound processing, storage, and delivery management. It increases user efficiency and reduces logistics center costs. It can be applied not only domestically but also to overseas logistics systems, offering both growth potential and scalability.
It internalizes flexibility to meet the logistics needs of various clients, and it is expected to grow in line with the rapidly changing pace of the e-commerce market.
Hyosung Ventures Co., Ltd. expects to enhance synergy effects in the future by applying this system to Hyosung subsidiaries in countries such as Vietnam to optimize logistics processes.
A representative of Hyosung Ventures Co., Ltd. stated, "In addition to logistics system solutions, we are discovering innovative business partners that align with the rapidly changing trends of future industries. We plan to continue investing so that both Hyosung Group and domestic industries can develop based on the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises."
