Ulsan Ulju-gun to Promote Village Community Building Project This Year
Recruitment of Community Participants for the Project Until the 22nd
Ulju-gun, Ulsan City is promoting the '2024 Ulju-gun Village Community Building Project' led by local residents.
Starting with five projects in 2016, this project, now in its ninth year, supports various community activities based on resident participation to increase interest and understanding of the village and help restore the community.
Last year, 21 communities contributed to solving village issues by addressing environmental concerns, multiculturalism, and conflicts among the younger generation according to village characteristics, focusing on communication among residents and the formation and revitalization of sustainable communities through activities on various themes.
The project targets residents who have an address in Ulju-gun or representatives of groups of five to ten or more residents working at business sites located in the county.
A total project budget of 100 million KRW will be invested, recruiting participants divided into three fields according to growth stages: village meetings, village revitalization, and village living labs.
The application period is until the 22nd of this month, and applicants can apply by referring to the announcement on the Ulju-gun website.
The final candidates will be selected through deliberation by the Ulju-gun Village Community Committee within this month.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the Small Business Support Team of the Regional Economy Division at Ulju-gun Office.
