Park Yong-ho Holds Press Conference in Front of the People Power Party Central Office Urging "Re-election and No Nomination"
"Serious Decision if Nomination is Forced"
Park Yong-ho, a preliminary candidate from the People Power Party, claimed on the 9th that there are serious problems in the nomination process for the Miryang·Uiryeong·Haman·Changnyeong electoral district and that the primary election process should be restarted from the beginning.
On the same day, Candidate Park said, "Among the four who initially applied for the nomination, it is fair and just for the remaining candidate Park Sang-ung and myself, who was cut off before the primary, to be judged by the residents through a primary election."

Candidate Park Yong-ho strongly criticized this decision by the Nomination Committee, stating that there are serious problems.
Candidate Park urged strongly, "Originally, four preliminary candidates applied for the nomination, and after a two-person primary between former Miryang Mayor Park Il-ho and candidate Park Sang-ung, the nomination was decided. Since the former mayor's nomination was canceled due to 'issues not meeting moral standards,' the existing primary process should be nullified and a new primary process should be conducted from the beginning."
Candidate Park also said, "The Nomination Committee's recommendation of candidate Park Sang-ung, who competed against Park Il-ho, who is under bribery allegations, to the emergency committee should also be reconsidered."
He criticized, "Even though the existing nomination was nullified, not holding a re-primary and nominating a candidate who was eliminated in the primary as the candidate for the electoral district is an unreasonable act."
Candidate Park strongly asserted, "If a political party considers a candidate appropriate during the nomination process and holds a primary between two specific candidates, but one is judged to be disqualified and their nomination is canceled, the entire primary process should be invalidated and the primary process should be conducted again."
