[Tomorrow's Weather] Chilly Until Sunday Morning... Spring Weather to Follow
Temperatures Below Average Until Morning of the 10th
It will be chilly until the morning of Sunday the 10th, followed by spring-like weather.
Cold winds blowing from the northwest will cause temperatures to remain below the average until the morning of the 10th.
In particular, inland areas are expected to have morning temperatures around minus 5 degrees Celsius over the weekend. Some areas may experience frost, so precautions should be taken to prevent cold damage.
The lowest temperature on the morning of the 9th is expected to range from minus 7 degrees to 1 degree Celsius, with daytime highs between 3 and 10 degrees Celsius.
The expected lowest and highest temperatures in major cities are: Seoul minus 3 degrees and 7 degrees Celsius, Incheon minus 2 degrees and 6 degrees Celsius, Daejeon minus 3 degrees and 8 degrees Celsius, Gwangju and Daegu minus 2 degrees and 9 degrees Celsius, Ulsan minus 2 degrees and 8 degrees Celsius, and Busan 0 degrees and 10 degrees Celsius.
On the 10th, temperatures will range from a morning low of minus 6 degrees to 2 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius.
Due to the influence of high pressure this weekend, the weather will be clear, and temperatures will rise significantly during the sunny daytime, causing the daily temperature range to widen to around 10 degrees on the 9th and about 15 degrees on the 10th.
Strong winds with gusts around 55 km/h (15 m/s) are expected on the 9th in Honam and Jeju. When the wind is strong, it may feel colder than the actual temperature.
From the 11th, temperatures are expected to rise above the average (lowest between minus 2 degrees and 6 degrees Celsius, highest between 9 and 15 degrees Celsius).
If you are planning outdoor activities over the weekend, be cautious of dry conditions mainly in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Yeongnam regions to prevent fires.
Also, on the east coast of Gangwon and the coast of Gyeongsang, high waves caused by swells will hit rocky shores and breakwaters over the weekend, so it is best to avoid coastal areas.
