Miryang Mayor By-election ... Reading of Public Officials' Election Neutrality Resolution
On the 4th, Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 5th that it held the March regular assembly at the city hall auditorium, attended by about 300 people including all main office employees, heads of affiliated organizations and above, eup/myeon/dong chiefs, and team leaders and above of subordinate organizations.
On this day, the regular assembly was held with the election of the 22nd National Assembly members and the Miryang mayor by-election just over 40 days away, proceeding in the order of fair election case education, reading of the civil servant election neutrality resolution, and a speech by Acting Mayor Heo Dongsik of Miryang.

The fair election case education was conducted by inviting Kim Jongmyeong, guidance manager of the Miryang City Election Commission, as an instructor, providing education on election laws that public officials must know and specific case studies to enhance civil servants' understanding of election laws.
Following this, all attendees read aloud the ‘Civil Servant Election Neutrality Resolution,’ pledging to strictly observe the political neutrality obligation of public officials and to establish a transparent and clean election culture.
Acting Mayor Heo Dongsik of Miryang said, “I thank the Miryang City Election Commission for explaining the election laws that civil servants must know and observe in an easy-to-understand manner,” and emphasized, “I hope all Miryang City employees strictly observe the political neutrality obligation so that the dignity of public officials is not compromised.”
