60,000 KRW per Person Haenam Sarang Gift Certificate Provided to Ease Economic Burden During Farming Season
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do has confirmed 14,805 recipients of this year's Farmers and Fishermen Public Interest Allowance.
According to the county on the 4th, the payment is scheduled for mid-April, with an expected total amount of approximately 8.9 billion KRW, providing 600,000 KRW per person.
With the busy farming season underway, the county plans to pay the full amount of the Farmers and Fishermen Public Interest Allowance in April to ease the economic burden on farmers. The allowance will be paid using Haenam Love Gift Certificates to revitalize the local economy.
The county received applications from business owners of agricultural, fishery, and forestry management entities from January to February, conducted eligibility verification and appeals, and selected the recipients.
The Farmers and Fishermen Public Interest Allowance is implemented to preserve and promote the public interest functions of agriculture and rural areas. Haenam-gun was the first in the nation to introduce the Farmers Allowance in 2019, serving as a catalyst for the expansion of the Farmers and Fishermen Public Interest Allowance.
Recipients confirmed for payment should bring a valid ID (resident registration card, driver's license, passport, etc.) and visit their local agricultural cooperative to receive the allowance.
