Yeongsangang Regional Environmental Office Leads Efforts to Create Eco-Friendly Festival
The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office of the Ministry of Environment is launching an initiative to create an 'Eco-friendly Festival Without Single-use Products.'
The Yeongsangang Office announced on the 4th that it plans to reduce the use of single-use items such as vinyl at the Gurye Sansuyu Flower Festival (from the 9th to the 17th) and promote the process of using and washing reusable containers directly.
They will also operate an 'Eco-friendly Zone' booth to promote topics such as the seasonal fine dust management system, reducing single-use products, and issues related to poaching, illegal trade, and wildlife.
