Changwon Special City Holds Appointment Ceremony for 23 New Firefighters ... We Protect the Safety of Citizens
New Firefighters Start Strong with Determined Commitment
On the 4th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an appointment ceremony in the 3rd conference room of the main office to mark the energetic start of new firefighters.
A total of 23 firefighters were appointed that day, including 7 general firefighters, 5 rescue personnel, 8 emergency medical technicians, and 3 from fire-related departments.
The appointment ceremony proceeded in the order of awarding appointment letters, taking the oath marking the first start in Changwon, greetings, and commemorative photos.
They passed the firefighter recruitment exam last year and completed 19 weeks of training at the Gyeongnam Fire Education and Training Center, acquiring basic knowledge and field practice (fire, rescue, emergency medical) necessary for firefighting duties.
In particular, they will be assigned to field departments after undergoing a 5-week station internship, where they can directly experience sites in fields other than their own recruitment area.
