Pyeongtaek City Family Center Supports Marriage Immigrant Women in Obtaining Driver's Licenses
Operation of the 'Safe Driving Special Task Force'
The Gyeonggi-do Pyeongtaek-si Family Center will operate the 'Safe Driving Special Squad' course starting from the 7th to support the acquisition of driver's licenses for marriage immigrant women in the area.
This driver's license acquisition course aims to strengthen the employment capabilities of marriage immigrants and support their economic independence. The program is conducted in two sessions, first and second half of the year.
Participants will receive education necessary for obtaining a driver's license, including theoretical education, skills tests, and road driving training. In particular, depending on income level, part of the tuition fee can be subsidized, and even if the exam is failed, tuition discounts are available through a business agreement linkage between the center and the Songtan Station Automobile Driving Specialized Academy.
