The West Sea Regional Coast Guard Agency (Commissioner Kim In-chang) will hire 38 youth interns starting from the 4th to promote youth policies in the public sector at the whole-government level.
According to the West Sea Coast Guard Agency, the recruitment field is administration, and the number of recruits by institution is as follows: △ West Sea Agency 6 people △ Mokpo Coast Guard Station 6 people △ Gunsan Coast Guard Station 6 people △ Yeosu Coast Guard Station 6 people △ Wando Coast Guard Station 5 people △ Buan Coast Guard Station 4 people △ Korea Coast Guard Education Center 5 people.
Youth internships are a system designed to provide young people preparing to enter society with experience in administrative agency duties and policy participation, thereby enhancing their understanding of the policy decision-making process and expanding their career options.
The hired interns will work 40 hours per week, five days a week, from next month until October. Additionally, incentives such as recognition of similar experience under the 'Public Officials Salary Regulations' will be provided if youth interns are later hired as public officials.
Applications can be submitted via email starting from the 11th, and the final successful candidates will be announced in early next month after interviews and other selection processes.
