Pyeongtaek City "Targeting 214.2 Billion KRW in National and Provincial Funding Next Year"
Securing Funding for the Promotion of 'Peace Art Center' and 'Clean Hydrogen Test Center'
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province has set a goal to secure 214.2 billion KRW in national and provincial government funding next year to smoothly advance key projects such as the 'Peace Arts Center' and the 'Clean Hydrogen Testing Center.'
On the 26th, Pyeongtaek City held the '2025 National and Provincial Budget Securing Report Meeting' at the city hall's comprehensive situation room and confirmed this plan, the city announced on the 27th.
Through this report meeting, the city set the target amount for national and provincial funding next year at a total of 214.2 billion KRW and plans to actively secure the budget to promote regional development and strengthen local fiscal soundness.
The city especially presented the following as key projects for securing national and provincial funding: ▲ Construction of the Peace Arts Center (41 billion KRW) ▲ Establishment of the Clean Hydrogen Testing and Demonstration Center (15.4 billion KRW) ▲ Installation of public livestock manure treatment facilities (17.6 billion KRW) ▲ Construction of the Western Youth Facility (6.5 billion KRW) ▲ Maintenance of sewage pipelines in Hak-hyeon and Naegi treatment districts (9.5 billion KRW) ▲ Installation of total phosphorus treatment facilities at the Godeok public sewage treatment plant (4.1 billion KRW) ▲ Construction of the Godeok District Central Library (2 billion KRW) ▲ Hosting the Gyeonggi Garden Culture Expo (1 billion KRW).
