Fishing Boat Capsizes Off Chuja Island, Jeju... All 8 Crew Members Rescued
A fishing vessel capsized off Chuja Island, Jeju, and all eight crew members were rescued by the Jeju Coast Guard.
According to the Jeju Maritime Police Station on the 27th, a report was received at around 9:05 a.m. that fishing vessel A (9.77 tons, coastal trap, 8 crew members) capsized inside Shinyang Port, Chuja Island.

Upon receiving the report, six coast guards from the Chuja Police Substation boarded a coastal rescue boat and set out. They discovered vessel A capsizing after running aground at the entrance of Sangchujado Port and immediately instructed all crew members to wear life jackets and took safety measures.
At around 9:28 a.m., as vessel A capsized due to flooding and some crew members fell into the sea, three coast guard rescue personnel urgently entered the water and rescued three struggling crew members to land. In cooperation with nearby civilian fishing vessels, all eight crew members were safely rescued.
