Seo Yu-seok, Chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association, expressed expectations that the 'Corporate Value-Up Support Plan for the Leap of the Korean Stock Market' will be "a turning point of a new era for resolving the Korea discount and achieving a new leap in the capital market."
On the 27th, Chairman Seo stated through the Korea Financial Investment Association, “For the successful establishment of the system, continuous interest and efforts from all market participants including the government, the National Assembly, the industry, and companies are necessary from a mid- to long-term perspective.”
He added, "The association and the financial investment industry will support institutional improvements to ensure that our companies are properly evaluated in the stock market by resolving the Korea discount," and "We will actively cooperate to make the best efforts in all areas including corporate investment, management, analysis, and fundraising."
The Corporate Value-Up Support Plan includes ▲ enhancing the corporate value of listed companies autonomously through incentives such as tax support ▲ inducing market evaluation and investment for companies with excellent corporate value ▲ establishing a dedicated support system for value-up.
