This year, the eligible home appliance categories have been expanded, and not only replacement of old products but also new purchases are included in the support scope. The supported items are four products with energy efficiency grade 1: air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, and refrigerators.
Samsung Electronics will actively promote its energy efficiency grade 1 products again this year, following last year’s participation in the government policy. These products will be showcased at Samsung Stores nationwide, Samsung.com, official online Samsung Electronics certified stores, and major retail outlets.
Rebate applications can be made on the official Korea Electric Power Corporation website, which opens on the 25th of next month. After purchasing the product, applicants must submit the energy consumption efficiency grade label of the purchased product, the manufacturing number plate, transaction details, and receipts.
