Sale to Private Equity Firm KKR... Worth 5 Trillion Won
U.S. semiconductor company Broadcom is reported to be selling part of the software business of VMware, which it acquired last year.
According to major foreign media on the 25th, Broadcom is in the final stages of completing a deal to sell VMware's 'End User Computing' (EUC) business unit to global private equity firm KKR for $3.8 billion (approximately 5.0635 trillion KRW). EUC is a technology that allows users to remotely access desktops or applications.
