Dongwon Home Food announced on the 22nd that CEO Jeong Munmok received the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Commendation in 2023 in recognition of his contributions to the development of the food and dining industry.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs selects and awards commendations annually to individuals who have contributed to the growth and development of the food and dining industry. Since his appointment in 2020, CEO Jeong has grown Dongwon Home Food into a company with annual sales of 2.3 trillion KRW through food ingredient distribution, seasoning manufacturing, catering, meat processing, and dining businesses.

Currently, Dongwon Home Food purchases food ingredients worth 1.2 trillion KRW annually and, based on this, supplies high-quality agricultural, livestock, and seafood products to over 15,000 B2B clients nationwide and about 400 group catering and dining establishments. Additionally, through direct transactions with producers via local purchasing, fixed-price and negotiated sales, the company is expanding direct trade with farms, contributing to increased farm income and market expansion.
