Ulsan City Hosts 5th Annual 'Hydrogen Industry Day' Commemoration Event
Agreement on Promoting Hydrogen Bus Deployment and Building Eco-Friendly Infrastructure
Ulsan City announced that it will hold the "5th Ulsan Hydrogen Industry Day Commemoration Event" on the 22nd at 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the Ulsan Next-Generation Battery Research and Development Center at the Korea Institute of Energy Research.
About 100 people, including Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom, city council members, heads of hydrogen industry-related organizations, and company representatives, will attend the event to conduct △ Presentation of awards for contributions to the development of the hydrogen industry △ Presentation of major achievements in the hydrogen industry in 2023 △ Signing of business agreements.

"Ulsan Hydrogen Industry Day" is held annually on February 26. This date commemorates February 26, 2013, when the world's first hydrogen electric vehicle was mass-produced at Hyundai Motor Company's Ulsan plant, and was designated in 2020 to foster Ulsan as the central city of South Korea's hydrogen industry.
