Jangseong-gun Conducts Safety Inspections for Small-scale Apartment Complexes
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 21st that it will conduct safety inspections on small-scale apartment complexes.
The inspection targets are housing complexes with 150 households or fewer that have passed 20 years since their approval for use.
The county plans to conduct a comprehensive safety assessment of the buildings through safety status identification and structural safety investigations.
The inspection results will be delivered to the representatives of the apartment residents to be used for safety management, repairs, and reinforcement work.
This year, a total of five small-scale apartment complexes will undergo safety inspections.
So far, the county has conducted safety inspections on 22 apartment complexes.
A county official stated, “We will continue to promote systematic safety inspections with the goal of creating an environment where residents can live with peace of mind.”
