Accordingly, Mayor Hong visited the hospital to listen to voices from the field and conduct an inspection.
On this day, Mayor Hong met with Hospital Director Hwang Suhyun and said, "Citizens are greatly concerned about the news of the collective resignation of resident doctors," and requested "flexible deployment of medical personnel to prevent gaps in medical services and persuasion for resident doctors who submitted resignation letters to return to the medical field."
He then visited the hospital's Emergency Medical Support Center to check the emergency medical situation of essential medical personnel, stating, "We will do our best to minimize inconvenience to citizens by closely cooperating with regional public and emergency medical institutions."
Meanwhile, Changwon City has been operating an emergency medical response situation room since the 8th to prepare for the medical community's collective strike. The situation room is composed of 11 teams and 93 members responsible for situation management, emergency response, emergency medical care, and on-site support at three health centers in Changwon, Masan, and Jinhae.
