Democratic Party Representatives Min Hong-cheol and Kim Jeong-ho: "We Will Protect Gimhae at the Forefront of the Nakdong River Belt"
In the upcoming general election, Min Hong-cheol, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for Gimhae City Gap district, and Kim Jeong-ho, the candidate for Gimhae City Eul district, held a joint press conference at the Gimhae City Hall Press Center on the 19th.
The two lawmakers stated, "We have each been nominated as the sole candidates for the Gimhae Gap and Gimhae Eul constituencies in the National Assembly election on April 10," and expressed their ambition, saying, "We will unite our efforts to establish Gimhae as a leading city in the future economy."
They also emphasized, "We will develop Gimhae into a national smart logistics platform hub and will re-promote the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) Megacity project, which was halted by the current government."

They added, "The People Power Party is putting forward candidates from other regions who have no knowledge of Gimhae under the pretext of reclaiming the Nakdong River belt, but we will stand at the forefront of the Nakdong River belt and definitely protect it."
Min said, "For a great leap forward for Gimhae's future, there must be a dedicated and passionate leader with diverse and deep legislative experience," and added, "If given the opportunity to work again for Korea and Gimhae, I will practice responsible politics, restore politics to its proper place, and become a great leader for Gimhae."

Kim stated, "Based on the legislative activities I have carried out for the development of Gimhae over the past six years, I will further advance the achievements and do my best to fulfill the major promises for Gimhae and focus on matters concerning the people's livelihood."
