Gwangjin-gu Provides Up to 1 Million Won Support for Kitchen Environment Improvement Costs
Application Deadline February 21, Expanded Support for LED Lighting Replacement Costs for Restaurants Operating Over One Year, 70% Support for Cleaning or Replacement Costs of Ventilation and Pest Control Facilities
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will provide up to 1 million KRW in support for kitchen environment improvement costs to 30 general restaurants.
The district stated that through this support, it aims to assist small business owners facing difficulties in management while taking the lead in creating a pleasant food culture where consumers can feel safe.
This project received positive feedback as a satisfaction survey conducted on business owners who participated last year showed that all respondents were "very satisfied."
The support covers cleaning or replacement costs for kitchen facilities such as ▲ventilation equipment (hood, duct, exhaust fan) ▲wall and floor tiles ▲pest control facilities, providing up to 70% of the total project cost, with a maximum of 1 million KRW.
Especially this year, reflecting the demands of last year's participants, the support scope has been expanded to include not only kitchen facility improvements but also replacement costs for LED lighting inside the restaurant.
Eligible applicants are restaurants that have been operating for more than one year after business registration.
The district plans to select target businesses by comprehensively considering factors such as ▲low annual sales ▲long operating period ▲urgency of improvement.
Restaurants wishing to apply can prepare the application form and required documents and visit the Gwangjin-gu Public Health Center's Health and Hygiene Division or apply by mail by February 21.
For more details, check the notices section on the Gwangjin-gu Office website or consult by phone.
