Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Attends Completion Ceremony for New Hongdae Affiliated Kindergarten Building
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the main auditorium of Hongik Design High School on the 7th to celebrate the completion of the newly renovated Hongik University College of Education Affiliated Kindergarten, which underwent nearly two years of construction.
The completion ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, the Chairman of the Hongik Foundation, the President of Hongik University, and the principals of the Hongik Foundation schools.
At the ceremony, Mayor Park Gang-su delivered a congratulatory speech and then moved to the newly relocated kindergarten to inspect the environment where the children will spend their time.

In his congratulatory address, Mayor Park said, “Kindergarten is our children's first school and their first social environment, making it more important than other educational institutions. I am delighted and proud to think that the children of Mapo will grow up healthy in the newly transformed Hongik University College of Education Affiliated Kindergarten.” He added, “Mapo District will also do its best to make Mapo a happy place for children.”
