Gyeongnam Social Welfare Community Chest Awards ‘Nanum Myeongmun Enterprise Certification Plaque’ to BNK Gyeongnam Bank
On the 7th, BNK Gyeongnam Bank received the ‘Nanum Myungmun Enterprise Certification Plaque’.
On this day, Bank President Ye Gyeong-tak received the Nanum Myungmun Enterprise Certification Plaque from Kang Gi-cheol, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, who visited the head office.
The Nanum Myungmun Enterprise is a high-value corporate donation program for companies that have donated more than 100 million KRW or pledged donations within three years.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank supported various projects including the Win-Win Job Cafe Woori (Silver Cafe) equipment support project, low-income youth feminine product support project, Happy Companion project, and learning support projects through remote class textbook support for students with health disabilities and those requiring protection.
Additionally, the bank has actively participated every year in the Hope Sharing Campaign promoted by the Community Chest of Korea, including the special fundraising campaign for heavy rain damage.
President Ye stated, “It is an honor that BNK Gyeongnam Bank has been listed among the Nanum Myungmun Enterprises leading sharing in Korea. Based on our interest in social issues, we plan to actively practice ESG management and fulfill our social responsibilities.”
Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has also joined as the 7th Red Cross Honors Enterprise in Gyeongnam, a group high-value donation certification program.
