Mokpo Coast Guard Conducts Teamwork Strengthening Training for Patrol Vessels and Substations
Customized Training by Jurisdictional Waters to Enhance Work Performance Ability
Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kwon Oh-seong) is conducting a 51-day teamwork enhancement training from the 1st of this month until March 22 to strengthen the situational response capabilities of field personnel such as patrol vessels and police substations.
According to Mokpo Maritime Police on the 6th, this training is a customized exercise for each jurisdictional sea area aimed at enhancing work performance abilities by forming teamwork between newly assigned personnel and existing staff in field departments following the '2024 Regular Personnel Transfer.'

The 20 vessels under Mokpo Maritime Police Station, including 16 patrol vessels and 4 special vessels, will conduct customized training for each jurisdictional sea area to ensure rapid accident response in case of incidents, covering △life-saving △maritime shooting △marine pollution accident response △extinguishing fires on other vessels △crackdown on illegal foreign ships.
Additionally, the 7 police substations will strengthen situational response capabilities through △coastal rescue boat operation skills △familiarization training on local terrain and major vulnerable points △training for six major maritime accident responses.
