Gyeonggi-do Anseong City announced on the 5th that it has confirmed to hold the region's representative festival, the 'Anseong Matchum Namsadang Baudeogi Festival,' for four days from October 3 to 6 at Anseong Matchum Land and Anseongcheon.
The city explained that on the 2nd, it held a festival committee meeting and decided the festival dates considering the timing to maximize the shipment period and sales volume of agricultural and specialty products.
This year, the city plans to hold the festival together with the 'Baudeogi Anseong Culture Festival' while enhancing content such as world folk performances and tourism product development, aiming to grow it into a festival enjoyed by all generations and visited by foreigners.
Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong City, said, "During the festival period, we will prepare various programs so that tourists can use not only the event venues but also other tourist attractions and private facilities, leading to economic revitalization throughout Anseong City."
