Kim Seong-hwan, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate for Dong-gu Nam-gu Eul in Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on the 4th that "to revitalize the economy of the Dongnam-eul area, we will secure new growth engines by integrating digital and online industries into existing local industries."
Candidate Kim Seong-hwan said, "At one time, the Dongnam-eul area was the core commercial district of Gwangju and served as a leading model for various industries," adding, "However, recently, with the formation of new commercial districts and diverse industrial sectors throughout Gwangju, it is difficult to find the old 모습."
