Geochang-gun Implements Price Stabilization Measures Ahead of Seol Holiday
Administrative Guidance on Unfair Trade Practices for 20 Essential Goods
Compliance with Origin Labeling and Price Tagging System Enforcement
Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has designated the period until the 16th as the Price Safety Measures Period and will operate a joint inspection team to manage the supply of essential goods and stabilize prices ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The county has established a comprehensive price stabilization situation room and formed a local price stabilization task force to monitor and inspect the price trends of 20 essential items, compliance with origin labeling, price tag regulations, and to conduct administrative guidance and inspections against unfair trade practices.
Three price monitoring personnel will be deployed mainly at markets and large supermarkets to investigate the supply status and price trends of agricultural and livestock products, and the information will be posted on the provincial price trend website to provide consumers with key price information on essential goods.
Additionally, as part of the price stabilization measures, a ‘Traditional Market Customer Onnuri Gift Certificate Payback Event’ will be held from February 5 until supplies last at traditional markets.
