Utilization Strategies for Tourist Resources from a University Student Perspective
Students from the Department of Hotel and Convention Management at Dong-Eui University recently conducted a project on ways to utilize tourism resources in both Korea and Japan during the winter vacation.

View original imageProfessor Yoo Hyung-sook and 11 students from the Department of Hotel and Convention Management at Dong-Eui University visited the Wakamatsu area of Kitakyushu City, Japan, from the 26th to the 29th, where they explored local tourist sites and held presentations and video production activities on ways to utilize regional tourism resources together with students from the Department of Modern Business at Kyushu International University.
This activity was organized as part of the Dong-Eui University Link 3.0 Project Group's Global Capstone Design Program and was the second event following last summer’s project where Japanese university students visited Korea to promote tourism revitalization in Busan.

Min Hee-chan, a third-year student participating in the program, said, “Exploring with Japanese students and Korean international students on site was a great opportunity to discuss the unique tourism characteristics of Busan and Kitakyushu from a university student’s perspective and to experience Japanese culture firsthand.”
