Linos changes company name to 'PolarisAI'... Expands business
"Expecting Synergy from Polaris Office Group"
Rinos, joining the Polaris Office Group, will change its company name and expand its business areas.
Rinos announced on the 30th that it will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 14th of next month to discuss agenda items such as the appointment of new executives, company name change, and addition of business purposes.
For the candidate of inside director, Mr. Byeon Ji-woong, who has experience at Samsung SDS and Samsung Electronics MX (Mobile Experience) division, was recommended, along with existing Polaris Office Group executives Chairman Jo Sung-woo and Polaris Office CEO Ji Jun-kyung.
The company name will be changed to "Polaris AI Co., Ltd." and the artificial intelligence (AI) business will be expanded. The business purposes to be added include ▲ development and supply of products and services utilizing artificial intelligence and big data technologies ▲ research, development, and supply of devices applying artificial intelligence solutions. Currently, Polaris Office, a core affiliate of Polaris Office Group, is establishing its position as an AI tech specialized company based on cloud and security solutions. Considering Rinos’ future business direction and potential for additional business expansion, it plans to launch under the new name "Polaris AI."
A Polaris Office Group official stated, "The company name change and addition of business purposes are to expand the scope of business and promote business synergy with group affiliates," adding, "We will develop into an AI tech specialized company by utilizing Rinos’ ICT division and its subsidiary, the voice AI specialized company Power Voice."

He also said, "Polaris Uno and Polaris Sewon, which will become the first and second largest shareholders of Rinos, are currently valued as low PBR stocks, so we will strive to enhance shareholder value within the group."
